Falcon Heights Parks and Recreation is excited to offer this popular activity for adults and seniors!

Yoga promotes good health, flexibility, strength and the ability to focus and relax. Students will learn proper breathing techniques, yoga postures, and meditation. This class will benefit everyone regardless of activity level, size or body type.

Our small class size gives each participant individual attention to ensure proper techniques, body alignment and safety.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own mat. Class sizes are limited so don't miss out!

Pre-Registration is required.

Thursday Afternoons

About the Instructor

Instructor Karen Rajcic Favazza is Yogfit® trained and has 46 hours in the Alliance Yoga approved track program. She has three years experience in teaching multi-level yoga classes such as: Yoga for seniors, Yoga for kids, Mood lifting Yoga, YogaLates (Combo of Yoga and Pilates) and therapeutic instruction. She has training in Yoga Anatomy emphasizing special heath conditions and has two years of training in Stott Pilates.

Karen's classes provide mind/body workouts featuring cardiovascular conditioning, muscle balancing, increasing range of motion and joint mobility and relaxation. She enjoys seeing her classes improve the quality of life for her students and expanding the fitness and healing benefits of yoga to the public.

Karen's philosophy: "If you can breathe, you can do yoga."
