General Information

Public ice rinks are located in each of Falcon Heights three City Parks: Community Park, Curtiss Field and Grove Park, as well as at Falcon Heights Elementary school.

Rinks are flooded in winter as soon as temperatures get low enough to make good ice, usually mid to late December. Rinks stay open until the ice begins to deteriorate, usually early to mid February.

Community Park and Curtiss Field have heated shelters that are staffed during posted hours. In 2005-2006 Falcon Heights Elementary School also has a heated shelter! There is no shelter at Grove Park, and that rink is not staffed.

Skate at your own risk.

Weather permitting, skating rinks will open on Monday, Dec. 19.

Come on out to one of these locations…
